Please stand still, will you? Why do you keep moving away? There is nothing to fear here. 

The last thing I would ever do is hurt you, I need you in my life, you mean too much to me. 

I spend every day waiting to hear when I will get to see you, looking forward to every second I get with you my dear. 

The time we get together, the way we are with one another, keeps me going when we’re apart; but when the memories start to fade, I begin to crack; but that’s something I will never let you see! 

 

Please stand still, I just want to love you and be there for you, whatever you need, that’s what I’m here for. 

My feelings won’t change no matter how much or little we talk. 

I love you and that love isn’t going anywhere, and neither am I, I’m holding on for more. 

I’m waiting for you to let me in, for you to let yourself love me again, knowing I am sincere, and I have no plans to walk! 

 

Please stand still, I’m not going to overwhelm you like before, not going to risk the loss of my lover again. 

I’m doing my best to give you time and space, allowing you to come to me when you want to set up a nap date. 

It’s not easy, I have my own insecurities, and issues; we discussed both yours and mine when this all first began. 

When our connection finally snapped us together and we began this struggle to figure out how to fit into each other’s lives, to follow fate!
