 When it Starts to Feel Like it was Only a Dream 

When it’s been so long since I have seen you and I haven't really heard from you either, the beautiful memories start to fade. 

That is when it starts to feel like it was only a dream, that really were too good to be true. 

The last time we were together, it was so close to perfection, more like how we started all of this, it felt like we finally had it made. 

Then time has kept on ticking by, unable to see each other, and the memories start to blur; feeling more like I only dreamed of you! 

 

When it starts to feel like it was only a dream, is when I start to lose my mind, when the depression really hits. 

You are the wonderful part of my life, the part that makes it worth it to deal with all the crap life throws at me. 

You are the bright side to the shit show that is my life, if you were just a dream, I'm left with no prize just pits. 

I need you to be real because it hurts too much when it starts to feel like it was only a dream; so, please don’t be a dream, be real... Hear this plea!
