 Good for You 

The day will come when you realize I am good for you, that life brought us together for a good reason. 

When it sinks in, everything will finally fully click into place; our love will win. 

Once you accept my word that I am not going to leave you and this romance is here to stay, not meant to just pass with the season. 

I am good for you, and you are good for me, we were led to each other because our love was written in the stars; always has been! 

 

The day will come; it will eventually sink in that I am good for you. 

That I can love you the way you need, I can take care of you and help you not lose your mind. 

In time you will see that I am good for you, that we have been following a path to one another far longer than we knew. 

That day will come, and I will still be here loving you as I have since the day we met, and it was revealed we were connected by the ties that bind. 

 

I am good for you, you are good for me, and this love story is going to be epic, just wait and see. 

Both of us being broken makes it harder to get there, to find the trust we need to build on, to get to that sweet spot. 

But our souls will not give up on us, will not let this cosmic connection get lost along the way, because you and I are meant to be. 

Sure, we fear the pain of being abandoned again, it is a fear we both will overcome in time as we give our love its fair shot!
