Collided
We collided, the impact was intense, the explosion was beautiful, the fire burned bright and hot.
Then the storm rolled in, raining down on us and turning our blazing fire into smoldering embers beneath the rubble left from the collision.
Losing sight of the beauty we found at first, concerned more with the damage than what we could build from it if ever gave it a fair shot.
Focusing on the choking smoke instead of trying to feed the inferno we had in the beginning; but we could get it back, we just need to make that decision.
We collided, it was out of nowhere and it rocked us, then the stormy winds rolled in and began to make us crumble.
What we were given could be the tools we need to build us back better and stronger.
What we need is right here in front of us, it’s up to us to start to rebuild, not let this bring us down; I think we can raise a fortress from the remains once we recover from the stumble.
We have what it takes if we believe, and let the love lead the way, we can get that fire burning even hotter, brighter and longer!
We collided; it was a beautiful disaster with the potential for an epic love story.
When the rains came and dashed out the fire, we almost lost everything we were given that day.
But we were drawn back together, our love not wanting to be denied; we have another chance to rebuild, we don’t have to be a part of one another’s history.
If we give this love a chance, we can build an empire, a fortress that will withstand the test of time; we can do it if we don’t walk away!
