When I Found You 

 

When I found you, my life changed, the path I was on completely turned, I can’t even begin to explain. 

When I found you, it was like finding an extension of myself, and when I almost lost you, a piece of me was ripped away. 

When I found you, I found my person, my one and only, I found what I had been searching my whole life for without knowing it, and you are amazing so I can’t complain. 

When I found you, so many things finally made sense, and even now with us struggling to find our path, my wish is only for you to stay. 

 

When I found you, the invisible string that had been bringing us together, revealed itself and our connection. 

When I found you, I found my soul’s mate, my one and only true love, the man I was born to love forever. 

When I found you, for a brief moment, everything was right with the world, I never expected you to run, I never could have predicted that reaction. 

When I found you, I shouldn’t have been surprised that this love, this connection wouldn’t be easy, life has been hard for both of us both; so, it makes sense that we would struggle to love each other! 

 

When I found you, I found my home, my place in this world and I will wait for it all to fall into place. 

When I found you, I knew there was no one else, no other love out there for me, it’s you; it’s always been you. 

When I found you, I found the soul my soul has loved for eternity, and if it takes us time to get there, so be it, life isn’t a race. 

When I found you, I found my future, my forever, my true path, and I will work for that future with everything I do!
