I Can Feel Your Pain

  I Can Feel Your Pain

I can feel your pain, I know it’s yours, because while it's similar, it is not the same pain as mine.

Your pain is for the loss of your love, while mine is for the loss of a son.

I can’t say I know your pain, I won’t even pretend, but I do understand it from its similarities, and it’s easy to say; because if it, neither of us is fine.

We will always carry our grief and our pain with us, and I want you to know that I'm always here for you even through this one!

As much as I wish I could take your pain away; I can't, but I wish I could hold you.

I know it's hard for you and it's getting harder as time brings you closer to anniversary number three.

I can feel your pain, the agony you hold within, and that is something I can honestly say I know, because I do.

So, if you need to talk, to be held, or anything at all, I’m here for you and I always will be!

I may not know the same pain, but I can feel your pain and I understand the agony you feel.

I have my own version that I live with, I know the pain of true loss.

Each loss causes a different pain, each its own form of grief, which is a wound that will never completely heal.

I’ve suffered my fair share, but not the same as yours, so I don't know your exact pain, but I do understand the cost!
