Felt Your Need 

 

I felt your need; felt the pull and I reached out with a poem to let you know I’m here. 

I don’t know how it works but I knew you needed to know I care. 

I felt your need and I had to answer the call because you are held close to my heart, my dear. 

I know the poem helped; I could feel the results through this connection of ours that is so rare! 

 

I felt your need, I knew I couldn’t ignore the pull, I had to answer your soul’s call. 

Thankfully I had the perfect poem for the moment, the one that would help the most. 

I promise to always be there when you need me, I could never abandon you, once you’re in my heart, I give my all. 

No matter the distance, I will always answer when I get the call, whether I’m next door, a hundred miles away or on the other coast! 

 

I felt your need, I always will, and I will always answer, I will always be there for you when you need me. 

We’re connected, we’re supposed to be, and I will forever keep my promise to you. 

I can’t deny a connection this deep, even if I wanted to, it’s part of who we are, who we will probably always be. 

I felt your need today and my poem helped you see that I care that my feelings are true!
