 Ticking By 

Seconds turn into minutes, which turns into hours and then days... 

Now we are at weeks since I’ve seen you, hugged you, kissed you... 

I long to touch you... 

 

Time keeps ticking by and it feels like forever since I’ve heard your voice 

or felt your touch... 

I miss you more than I could ever put into words. 

I miss the man that did everything right without trying. 

I miss the man I fell in love with... 

I want to get us back, but time keeps ticking by... 

And we are still apart. 

Time keeps ticking by and tomorrow is never promised... 

So come to me my love... 

Let us fix this... 

Let’s not waste any more time wanting each other from afar.... 

Afraid of these feelings growing between us... 

If it scares us, it’s probably worth it, or at least will be one hell of a ride...
