 You Say I Deserve Better 

You say I deserve better, and I say that you have no clue how amazing I think you are. 

To me, you are an inspiration; you are an incredible man that challenges me to be better; you are one of the best things to happen to me by far. 

You say I deserve better; I think you don't understand how much I adore you. 

The way you treat me when we are together; making me feel sexy and wanted, especially when you look at me like you do. 

You say I deserve better, but do you know that no one has ever made me feel as safe as you make me feel? 

Nobody has ever been able to hold eye contact with me or made me feel safe enough to sleep so easily; telling me these feelings are real! 

You say I deserve better; however, have you realized, you have a calming effect, and you quiet my mind.  

I have never met anyone that can get my brain to stop, even for a little while; making you an extraordinary find! 

You say I deserve better, and I want to tell you that I think there is no one more deserving of love than you. 

So, all this love I have to give, is here waiting for you when you are ready, even if it takes a year or more than a few. 

You say I deserve better; well, I think you deserve to be happy and have some peace in your life. 

I know you get that peace with me and once you trust that I am a safe place; the happiness will come, and I just want to be that for you; so, please don't freak and think I am expecting you to make me your wife! 

You say I deserve better; I highly disagree with that statement because to me, there is no one better than you. 

No one who does as much as you do for others should ever think they are undeserving of someone that loves you like I do!
