Remember Those Who Never Made it Home 

As you fire up the grills, and crack open the cold beers, take a moment to remember those who never made it home over the years. 

Today we get the day off to vacation, party, hang with friends and family; but many will be missing a loved one. 

So, while you enjoy your day; don’t forget to remember those who never made it home and the families that spend today in tears. 

Live the day for them, give cheers to those who gave their lives in order for us to have this day for fun. 

 

Today is the day to remember those who never made it home, who went off to fight for this country and never came back from the war. 

Enjoy the day, have your picnics, and BBQs, your day trips, and fun in sun. 

But don’t let those who died be forgotten in the laughs and friendly banter; the ones that can’t do any of that anymore. 

Remember those who never made it home, the ones that left behind everything and everyone to fight and die for our right to live freely and have days like today for fun!
