I’m so happy to have you in my life, almost losing you changed my perspective, and I will gladly take what I can get. 

I know your life is beyond busy, any time you can steal away is precious, I hope you know I am grateful for every minute. 

I will patiently wait for you to be able to find some time for us, we have to take what we can get, and I won’t get upset. 

I know your time is precious, which makes me feel special when you make time for me, so I cherish every little bit! 

 

I’m going to take what I can get because I know you’re still hesitant to let me in, you’ve been hurt so many times before. 

I’m going to cheerfully accept anything you are willing to give, take your time, I’m not in a hurry, I’m in this for the long haul. 

I understand your need to make sure, I’ve had plenty of people promise to stay, promise to never leave me, and still walk out the door. 

So, I want to earn your trust, I want to prove my loyalty is real, and I want you; the good, the bad, the sad, I want it all! 

 

You are one of the most amazing humans I’ve ever met, and every second with you is worth the wait. 

I am happy to take what I can get because I feel blessed to even know you. 

We almost lost each other, almost pushed one another too far away because things moved too fast, were hot and heavy right out of the gate. 

I don’t want to repeat that, I don’t want to lose you; that was rough, so from now on, I will follow your cue! 

 

When it comes down to it, my life is better and I am happier with you in it, so I will gladly take what I can get. 

Nothing beats the time we get together, the little pieces of your life you share with me, the friendship we are building and of course the pleasure. 

I’m lucky, lucky to have met you, luckier to still have you in my life, and maybe even the luckiest woman alive because you think I’m sexy, there is no way I will ever forget. 

So, I want to create a safe place for you to be your genuine self, I want to please you and give you peace, because to me you are a treasure!
