  I Will Be Your Light 

 

When the darkness takes over, and you can no longer see your way; look to me and I will be your light. 

I will be there to help you find your path, to keep you from stumbling and falling. 

If the darkness is so thick, you can’t see me, call out my name and I will be there; I will always be by your side, in any fight. 

You’re not alone, you no longer have to face the darkness on your own; being your light is my calling! 

 

When the darkness is surrounding you and has you lost, look to me, I will be your light; I will help you find your way. 

You no longer have to walk this dark path alone; I am here to brighten the way; to help guide you. 

I promise to always be here when you need me, to help you through your darkest days; I’m here to stay. 

So, when you’re overwhelmed and it feels like the darkness will never let up, call to me is all you have to do! 

 

I will be your light when the darkness tries to suck you in, tries to break you down and make you feel defeated. 

I don’t ever want you to feel alone, I am here for you, all you ever have to do is call. 

I will be there by your side to help you fight the demons trying to bring you to your knees; no matter how hard the battle, no matter how heated. 

I made this promise the day we met, and I promise it still, I will be your light; you will always have my all!
