Overtaken 

 

You seem to have completely overtaken my life in every way... 

You inspired me to get back into my art, and not surprisingly, most has something to do with you... 

You brought out the writer in me, and of course most of my writing is about you and hoping you’ll stay... 

Plus, you’re constantly on my mind, no matter where I go, who I’m hanging out with or what I do! 

 

You have overtaken my life, you might as well be the air I breathe, the water I drink and the food I eat... 

You’re in every dream while I sleep and every fantasy when I’m awake... 

My life has become so much about you, without me even knowing it, but when I do get to see you, it is such a treat... 

I miss you like crazy when we’re apart, especially when we don’t talk, so I cherish every little bit of time you spare me, however little, I take! 

 

You have overtaken my life, become so much a part of me... 

I wonder if you weren’t keeping your distance and fighting your feelings, if it would be the same way for you... 

Would I overtake your life as much as you have mine? It’s like we were supposed to be one entity... 

I wonder if this is how it’s supposed to feel when you find your “one”, to be completely overtaken, I must say that I’ve never felt this way before, it’s all new!
