The smell of lilacs fills the house as it comes in on the warm spring breeze...
One of my favorite childhood memories, brought back every spring with the scent of lilacs in the air...
Get close and breathe their fragrance in, but be careful, you might sneeze...
But breathe them In, remember your childhood, running barefoot in the backyard, without a care!
Lilacs will aways be my favorite fragrance with the memories it brings back...
Memories of grandpa out in the garden, planting and chatting with the neighbor...
Always puttering around, working on something, a strong work ethic he didn’t lack...
Grandpa was an amazing loving man that I will always miss, so I love it when spring brings be lilacs and their fragrance takes me back to the memories of a man I adore!
