Last Day of Forty-three

Last Day of Forty-three

Wow, my last day of forty-three, what a year it was, with ups, downs, twists and turns.

Discovered that I had met my soul connection, lost him along the way, but thankfully he found his way back.

Met some interesting people, many walking in and out of my life, some so quickly you would have thought being close to me burns.

It has been an interesting year for sure, both good and bad, as well as plenty of lessons of which it did not lack!

So, it is my last day of forty-three, then it's onto the next, getting ever better with age.

I am even in better shape than when I first turned forty-three, can't complain about that part.

Now I am ready to turn forty-four, to get on with my story, continuing to age like fine wine as I turn the page.

More focus on my art, my writing, getting my life back on track, and loving that gorgeous man; yep, definitely following my heart!

Spending my last day of forty-three, working on me, on things that could make life a little less straining.

Enjoying the day doing the things I love; writing and drawing, focusing on building a better future is today’s plan.

Avoiding stress as much as possible and staying away from the people in my life that can be completely draining.

Wanting really only see one person and he was able to see me today, no one else but my love; a perfect end to forty-three an early birthday present, that beautiful man!

My last day of forty-three and I don't mind at all, getting older doesn't bother me, I am better now than years previous.

I look better, feel better and despite what the kid says, still nowhere near ancient, not even old.

Plus, I have an amazing, slightly younger, very built man to keep me motivated on improving every day; sometimes making me feel devious.

Making sure it's harder and harder for him to not think about me, not miss me; can't have him thinking he can find better; yep, feeling that bold.

Goodbye Forty-three!
