Sleep

 Sleep 

 

Sleep, such a wonderful thing that currently neither of us is lucky enough to get much  of...  

Oh, if only we could sleep in each other's arms, getting the rest we both need so badly...  

A rest made peaceful by the presence of the one we love...  

Often fueled by great cuddles, but it’s not something we get the option of doing often sadly...  

  

He struggles to sleep because of work and whatever other stresses...  

Me, who knows, sleep has decided we are no longer friends...  

But when we’re together, it makes all the stress less and allows us to momentarily forget  life's messes...  

Allowing us to get a restful sleep, we need so bad, we are sad when it ends...  

  

How I wish he could come here, and we could hold each other and sleep!
