Our Time Together 

Our time together means so much, I am not sure I can even put it into words just how much it means to me. 

When we are hanging out, making each other laugh by being goofy together. 

Or when you are asking me what a word means or how to say something in English; who knew how funny that could be?! 

Almost every day we have our own little comedy going, even more so when we see one another; something I want to last forever! 

 

I look forward to our time together, the light at the end of the tunnel situation. 

The days we get, the laughs we have; all bring a brightness to my life, it’s so sad our time together goes so fast. 

I wish we could hit pause or slow it down, or at least if we didn’t have to wait so long for a continuation. 

It’s not fair how slowly our time apart seems to pass verses how quickly our time together is over; because we are having a blast! 

 

Our time together is good for us both, lifting our moods, getting us out of our heads and letting us have fun. 

We act like kids and that is okay because deep down the child within never truly goes away. 

So getting the time to be a little crazy, a little carefree, and somewhat childish; helps relieve the stress a ton. 

That is why our time together means so much to me; I don’t know what else to say!

Whatever We Have

 Whatever We Have 

This friendship, this bond, this whatever we have; this is what I want, this is what I have been looking for. 

I do not want a forced relationship, to be a booty call or even someone’s side piece. 

I want the adventures, the laughs, the love we have for each other; all the things that never happened so naturally before. 

I want the conversations, the cuddles, the silly antics, and the peace. 

 

Whatever we have, whatever this is; makes me happy and is what I have wanted all along. 

Everything is perfect when we get time together, even when you are being a pain in my ass, because that is just part of who you are. 

There isn’t anything when I’m with you that feels awkward or out of place; almost like we belong. 

Whatever we have is what I want; having you in my life makes me a winner by far! 

 

Whatever we have, makes my life better every day. 

From our conversations to the time we can hang out, remind me of how lucky I am to have met you. 

Our sense of humor matching along with our crazy; making for unending fun, and I love us that way. 

So, whatever this is, whatever we have, needs to last; we make each other happy and that is what we are supposed to do!

Tiny Town

                                                                             Tiny Town 

Tiny towns, barely specks on a map; still amazingly left alone. 

Like portals back in time, a little taste of history; a part of America stuck in the past. 

These tiny towns you find only when you take the back roads, if you look you might even see a pay phone. 

You won’t see their names on any highway sign, no headline tourist attractions; that’s how these pieces of history last. 

 

These tiny towns are often out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by huge farms. 

They make me smile at a memory from childhood and we always said, “the towns was so small, if you sneezed, you would have missed it”. 

Little “one horse towns: as my grandpa liked to refer to them; have their unique charms. 

That is one reason I love to take the back roads when I can; on the trips that permit me to take my time and enjoy every bit. 

 

You must love the tiny towns, left untouched by modernization. 

Leaving them their charm and feel of the good ole’ days. 

Some have cemeteries bigger than they are because they have been around for that long; no exaggeration. 

I would think living in a tiny town would have its own challenges in a lot of ways. 

 

Still there is just something about tiny towns that makes me smile, and I will forever love driving through them!

Since I Met You

Since I Met You 

Since I met you; there seems to be a smile on my face more. 

Since I met you; I spend a lot more time happy and less time sad. 

Since I met you; I find I laugh often; which happened a lot less before. 

Since I met you; even the worst of days doesn’t seem so bad. 

 

Since I met you, my thoughts tend to be on the more positive side. 

Since I met you; I have noticed my overthinking doesn’t take over too much. 

Since I met you; I’ve reconnected with my inner child, and she is now along for the ride. 

Since I met you; I have finally experienced how much someone can calm and relax me with just their presence and their touch! 

 

Since I met you; for the first time in a long time, I feel like everything will be okay. 

Since I met you; I feel like I found someone who genuinely gives a shit. 

Since I met you; I have realized I’ve been getting a shitty deal in the love department, and I really hope you plan to stay. 

Since I met you; I haven’t been able to really think about anyone else, which doesn’t bother me one bit! 

 

Honestly, my future seems brighter since I met you!
